The Boyd County Sheriff’s office has received numerous reports of credit card theft from around Boyd County. Please be aware when you are either purchasing items on-line or pay at the pump gas stations. You should monitor your accounts and if you have any discrepancies, please contact your credit card company and or bank immediately.
There has also been reports of phone calls from the Amazon Company wanting to work on your computer in return for free gift cards. This is a scam call, do not give them any of your account information, payment, or access to your computer.
