Holt County TeamMates  to Host Free Concert Featuring The Voice Finalist Bryan Olesen and Local Talent Emma Sue, October 18 in Atkinson

ATKINSON—Holt County TeamMates is bringing a special evening of music and mentorship to the community with a free concert on Saturday, October 18, at 8 p.m. at the Atkinson Community Center in Atkinson, NE
The event will feature a performance by Bryan Olesen, the former Newsboys guitarist and Top 3 Finalist on Season 25 of NBC’s The Voice, along with his band, Vota.
The free event is a recruitment effort designed to encourage local residents to become mentors with the TeamMates program.
A Night with Bryan Olesen
Olesen, known for his stadium rock-style musicality, captivated audiences nationwide on The Voice as a member of Team Legend. In addition to his performance with Vota, Olesen will host a question-and-answer session to share his experience on the show and discuss the profound importance of being mentored by superstar John Legend. His appearance is a testament to the power of mentorship, a central theme of the TeamMates program.
Local Talent Takes the Stage
The evening will also spotlight local talent, with a performance by Emma Sue Sedlacek. Emma Sue, who is from O’Neill and the daughter of Brian and Nicole Sedlacek, is a former TeamMates mentee and a current student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her performance, following Vota’s set, will showcase her musical journey and the positive impact the program has had on her life.

This free concert offers more than just entertainment; it’s an opportunity for community members to learn about becoming a TeamMates mentor. Staff from the TeamMates National Office will be available to answer questions and provide information about the program.
