The O’Neill Chamber of Commerce Irish ‘Toberfest Bags, Brew & BBQ is coming up Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in O’Neill. This year’s event is presented by Christensen Farms & Krotter’s Home & Auto Center.
They are taking entries now for the Pork Rib Cookoff. Entry fee is $75 per team (up to 3 on a team) and you must enter by September 8, 2025. You can enter at the O’Neill Chamber of Commerce Office at 125 South 4th Street or CLICK HERE TO PRINT OFF AN ENTRY FORM & FOR RULES AND BRING IT IN.
Prizes for the Rib Cook-Off are 1st Place $500, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $150, 4th & 5th place $75. The People’s Choice prizes also have 5 payouts, the same as the Rib Cook-Off.
Along with the Cook-Off, the 16th Annual Bean Bag Tournament will also be held that day. Registration is from 10 am to 11 am, with play to begin at 11 am. This is for anyone age 13 years & up, and the entry fee for a two-person team is $30.
The Home Brew Contest will also be going on in the afternoon. Come sample some great local brews.
For this event, gates open to the public at 11 am, and they will have the Nebraska Football game on the Big Screen. Then get ready to enjoy the best ribs and home brew around. Serving starts at 4 pm. To enjoy all you can eat ribs and a bottle of water, the cost is $20 for Adults and $10 for 10 & Under.
