
Monday, July 28, 2025, along the Nebraska/South Dakota border in the KBRX listening area, a storm system moved through with tornadoes, strong winds, lightning, hail & rain.
Two miles of Bonesteel, South Dakota, the home of Sherri Schmitz Kollars was destroyed by a tornado. On her Facebook post Sherri stated that she along with three others rode out the tornado in their basement and they are fine but her home is totally destroyed.
