Area Fire Departments are battling a fire in downtown Creighton, Nebraska, this morning, Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
At 6:40 am, KBRX received word that three buildings were on fire and that multiple fire departments were battling the fire. Main Street in Creighton is closed to traffic and people are asked to please avoid the area so crews can get equipment and water to the fire.
Those in Creighton are asked to NOT use your water as they continue to fight the downtown fire. Also Creighton Community Public Schools has canceled school today.
