Since 2018, NEBRASKA BANK has invested in the next generation of business and agriculture leaders through its scholarship program, awarding $74,000 in educational funding to Nebraska high school seniors as of April 2026.
Applicants are selected based on their intent to pursue degrees related to banking, business, or agriculture, as well as their commitment to attending a Nebraska college or university. Recipients also demonstrate strong community involvement and the ability to balance academics with extracurricular activities.
NEBRASKA BANK awarded ten scholarships across the state, and the 2026 scholarship recipients from the KBRX area were Lucas Griess of West Holt High School in Atkinson and Jaylee Lechtenberg of Boyd County High School in Spencer. They will each receive a $1,000 award to support their education this fall
“NEBRASKA BANK is proud to support students who are committed to strengthening the future of our communities,” said Stephen Stull, NEBRASKA BANK CEO. “These recipients represent the drive, leadership, and values that will continue to move Nebraska forward.
NEBRASKA BANK congratulates these outstanding students and is proud to support their continued success as they pursue higher education and build their futures in Nebraska.
