Congratulations to the O’Neill High Student Council – they have achieved the $500 scholarship level through their blood drive efforts for the 2025-2026 School Year by collecting 58 units which will impact up to 174 patient lives!

LifeServe Blood Center awards scholarships student organizations that organize at least two blood drives between July 1 and June 30. Scholarships are earned by recruiting donors, serving as the chairperson, and registering donors for the drive. The program rewards student leadership while supporting the local blood supply.

In partnership with O’Neill High, LifeServe Blood Center hosted a scholarship blood drive in O’Neill on Thursday, April 2, with an excellent turnout from the community. A total of 31 donors registered25 donors were able to give, and 26 units of lifesaving blood were collected. Those donations can help save up to 78 patient lives in local hospitals.

Six of the donors were first-time donors, showing the strong impact this group is having by bringing new donors into the community!
