The Family of Colonel Jerry Lynn Lamason has been given the use of a display case at the Veteran’s Administration Building in O’Neill, Nebraska, to house the Distinguished Service Medal of Honor, the Army’s highest award for meritorious service, for Colonel Lamason’s exceptional leadership as Commander of the US Army Depot Systems Command (DESCOM). At the request of Colonel Lamason, the award ceremony was held in Page, Nebraska on December 14, 1978, to honor the community of Page that he credited with instilling in him the qualities of honesty, accountability, and hard work. We request the honor of your presence at a reception to commemorate the unveiling of the display case.
