Ponca Creek Living Assisted Living Community will be hosting an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, February 18, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Community members are invited to attend and celebrate this important milestone for our area.
Ponca Creek Living has officially opened its doors as a licensed Assisted Living facility, offering a beautiful 10-apartment community designed to provide both independence and peace of mind. Each apartment includes a private kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom, allowing residents the comfort and freedom of their own space while remaining close to family and community.
The opening comes after a year of determination following the announcement of the Butte Senior Living Center’s closure. Despite several unforeseen hurdles, the dedication of local volunteers, support from legislators, and strong backing of our communities made it possible to restore assisted living services to Boyd County and its surrounding areas.
While the opening of the assisted living community marks a significant achievement, it is only the first step in a larger effort to fully reopen nursing home services. Fundraising efforts are ongoing, and community support remains critical to bringing skilled nursing care back to Butte. Donations are still being accepted to help move this next phase forward.
Ponca Creek Living remains committed to ensuring our neighbors can continue to live close to home, surrounded by the people and communities they know and love.
