There’s a new single-season rebound champ for the Crete Cardinals Girls Basketball Team, and she has ties to the KBRX area.
Sophomore Kassidy Egge broke the Crete Cardinals single season rebounding record this past week, surpassing the record of 302. She did so in Thursday night’s overtime win over Aurora, 58-50. Egge notched 17 points & 17 rebounds, her ninth straight double-double.
Kassidy is the daughter of Dave & Kim Egge. Her dad Dave, is a graduate of Stuart High School, and her mom, Kim (Sorensen) is a graduate of Orchard High School. Her grandparents are James and Janet Sorenson of Page.
