Each year, approximately 3,000 of the best high school musicians in the state audition for the Nebraska All State Band, Chorus, Jazz Band and Orchestra which are sponsored by the Nebraska Music Education Association.

Selection as a member of one of these groups is one of the highest music honors attainable in Nebraska. Emily Jones, Director of Band Affairs for the Nebraska Music Education Association, is pleased to announce that LOGAN BRADSHAW from O’Neill on French Horn was among the 160 students selected to be a part of the 2025 All-State Band.

Guest conductor for the group was Colonel Don Schofield.  Colonel Don Schofield is the commander and conductor of The United States Air Force Band. He is responsible for all activities of this 184-member squadron including equipping, training and deploying Airmen musicians to perform nearly 1,600 missions each year. Schofield recently completed command with the United States Air Forces in Europe Band stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, where he oversaw and directed more than 400 missions annually across Europe and Africa in a 104-nation area of responsibility
