Fall cleaning isn’t complete without a good paper purge. Shredding old documents not only clears physical clutter but also protects your privacy. The North Central Nebraska RC&D has partnered with communities to offer on-site shredding on October 20, 2025. A truck from Security Shredding Services will be stopping in Ainsworth, Springview, Naper, Butte, Spencer, and Lynch. This is an opportunity to safely dispose of financial papers, medical records, and other sensitive documents. Magazines, newspapers, plastic bags, and x-rays are not accepted. Documents can be in files with paper clips, staples, and rubber bands; however, larger metal clips and plastic folders cannot be shredded.
There is no charge for individuals and businesses to bring paper, but donations are appreciated to help cover the cost of the event.
