Boyd Holt Right to Life is excited to announce that Heart of a Child Ministries will be sharing their Celebration of Life presentations with our communities on Wednesday, October 1st.
Heart of a Child Ministries is an Omaha-based, nationally recognized, education ministry that shares live ultrasounds by professional sonographers and pregnant volunteers. All will see the miracle of life in the womb, listen to the heartbeat, and hear the joy-filled truth about God’s love for the preborn person and for all of His children through Scripture.
Three age-appropriate Christian presentations will be offered, and family participation is highly encouraged and welcomed. Everyone will watch the family friendly, live ultrasound presentation together – with live music, Scripture, fun fetal facts. They will then split up into groups.
K-4th grade will have an opportunity to participate in fun, hands-on activities receiving little babies, Scripture based bookmarks, heart-shaped lollipops, and reading beautiful child friendly books that affirm who they are as children of God.
5th grade and older will hear a beautiful adoption stories.
7th grade and older will then hear from Megan Meyers, who will share her testimony about living in the shame of having had an abortion and finding restoration and redemption through the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
Boyd Holt Right to Life, with help from area underwriters, are sponsoring this family event. There is no cost to attend, but an offering will be taken for Beginnings in O’Neill to thank and encourage them for their wonderful work supporting moms and babies, and their families.
There will also be an opportunity to ‘Spiritually Adopt’ a baby and mom who are in danger of abortion, then pray for them during the next 9 months.
