Pilots and guests have already arrived as of Thursday, September 4, for the  2025 Tandem Wing Fly-In “Field of Dreams” at the O’Neill, Nebraska Airport.  The event is hosted by Local Pilot/Builder Barry Stearns of Ewing

This is a gathering of builders and pilots of these experimental and scratch-built aircraft and a chance for them to visit and check out other aircraft and show off their planes.  As of Thursday 7 planes and 11 visitors have already arrived from Davenport, Iowa – San Francisco, California – Detroit, Michigan – Louisiana – Grand Junction, Colorado, – Enid, Oklahoma – New Mexico and Illinois with many more on there way.  1995 Lindy Award Winner Terry Crouch from Iowa is here this weekend and other award winners are expected to arrive as well.

Many will be arriving on Friday, September 5, and on Saturday, September 6, it’s a chance for the public to come out for the Fly-In Breakfast and check out these aircraft, and visit with the pilots. The free-will donation breakfast, sponsored by EAA Chapter 804 – Sandhills Airforce, is open to the public and will be served from 8 am to 11 am.

Please come out and visit with the pilots and check out the different airplanes that will be there.  We have visitors from all over the United States, and they love to talk about their planes.
