O’Neill Well Represented in the Nebraska Masonic All-Star Marching Band

Eleven current and past members of the O’Neill High School Band participated in the 2025 Nebraska Masonic All-Star Marching Band. Those members traveled to Kearney on Tuesday, June 3rd. On the campus of UNK, they practiced pep band, parade and field tunes in preparation for their weekend activities. The indoor concert on Friday, June 6th kicked off those performances. At this concert, they performed pep band, patriotic as well as their field show music. On Saturday morning, the Nebraska Masonic All-Star Marching Band took to the famous red brick streets of Kearney in the Shrine Bowl Parade. The day was capped off with a performance at the 67th Annual Shrine Bowl. The Nebraska Masonic All-Star Marching Band performed pep band tunes in the stands, the National Anthem prior to the football game, and finished with their halftime field show.
O’Neill was once again was a leader in participants have eight performing band members as well as three Junior Band Assistants.

“The Shrine Bowl is a great way for the Shriners to raise funds and awareness for their children’s hospitals throughout the country. These band kids worked so hard for the five days, learning music and drill for their various weekend performances. It’s great to see O’Neill again so well represented at this worthwhile camp.” commented O’Neill Band Director Chad Dean.

Participating in the 2025 Nebraska Masonic All-Star Marching Band were: Benson Bohlender, Oliver Wlaschin, Anna Otte, Riley Roessler, Alyssa Fehringer (JBA), Emma Otte (JBA), William Otte (JBA), Hailey Romesser, Reese Grosch, Alex Otte, and Bodie Latzel.
