
The O’Neill FFA Chapter attended District LDE’s at West Holt High School on January 15th. We had many students participate in speeches and ag demos, and we had excellent results.
Suhani Chaudhari was District Runner Up in Cooperative Speaking.
Grace Mitchell, Jaelynn Nicolaus, and Payton Peter were Purple Finalists, placing 4th in their Ag Demo, and Kaitlynn Hinrichs was a Purple Finalist in Jr. Public Speaking.
Wade Krysl and Brody Jakubowski earned a Purple Ribbon, and Reid Laible earned a Blue Ribbon in Employment Skills.
Mollie Corkle got a Blue Ribbon in Natural Resources Speaking, while Brenna Gdanitz and Brenna Davis both got Blue Ribbons in Senior Public Speaking.
Carley Bordovsky, Chelsie Janzing, and Kayli Montgomery got a Blue Ribbon in their Ag Demo, along with Colton Shoemaker and Ty Stevens in theirs.
The Parliamentary Procedure Team earned a Blue Ribbon, which included Wade Krysl, Suhani Chaudhari, Tatum Wilson, Caleb Laursen, Reid Laible, and Braxen Sorensen.
Zach Buller got a Red Ribbon in Natural Resources Speaking, and finally, Josie Bradshaw with a Red Ribbon in Creed Speaking.
We also had many JH Quiz Bowl participants: Lynn Miner, Addison Engelhaupt, Bristol Engelhaupt, Ashlynn Crooker, Bo Cahoy, Hudson Wiseman, Grayson Frank, Landyn Nicolaus, Cameron Laursen, Holden Fick, Lane Dougherty, Liam Gartner, Landen Kaup, Jhett Welsh, Hutton Svoboda, and Hannah Zakerzewski.
Some upcoming events for our chapter are Proficiency Applications due on January 27th, State Degree Interviews on February 5th, FFA Week February 17th-221st, and District CDE’s at Norfolk on February 25th.
