The O’Neill American Legion Simonson Post #93 will conduct a Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 27 at 11 am at the O’Neill Cemetery.
The Stuart Memorial day program will be at 10:30 am Monday, May 27 at the cemetery. If it rains, it will be held at the Stuart Auditorium. Asking for help Saturday morning at 8am for putting up the avenue of flags. If anyone is willing to help, come by then. Would like help the same day to put up grave marker flags if anyone is willing to help.’
The Atkinson American Legion Post #86 will honor our fallen on Monday, May 27 at 10 am at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson. There will be a potluck to follow at Atkinson American Legion Post #86 after the ceremony. In case of inclement weather to to Legion Post #86 for the ceremony.
The Carroll Binkerd American Legion Post #228 and its Ladies Auxiliary will conduct the Memorial Day program to honor deceased veterans with services at the Lynch Community Hall on Monday, May 27 at 9 am. The Deceased Veterans book will be on display at the Memorial Day Program
The Verdel American Legion Post #223 Color Guard will hold Memorial Day services on May 27 starting at the Alford Cemetery at 9:45 am.; Riha Cemetery at 10:30 am, Pischelville Cemetery at 11:00 am, Riverview Cemetery at 11:45 am; and at the Verdel Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
