Nebraska State Patrol Troop B to Conduct Selectives in and Around Schools

SEPTEMBER 13, 2019 (Norfolk, NE) With the recent start of school, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) Troop B- Norfolk will be conducting selectives in and around schools in the troop area.  These efforts are an attempt to ensure a safe and distraction free trip to and from school.

The special enforcements will include patrols during the morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.  Troopers will also be focusing on the extra-curricular events during the evening hours as school supporters travel to the activities.

“It is our hope that drivers will exercise extreme caution in and around the schools and are already voluntarily complying with the traffic safety laws.” said Lieutenant Jim Bills Troop B-Norfolk.

Sergeant Ben Brakenhoff, Sergeant Troop B-Norfolk said, “Help us keep our kids safe, always buckle up, obey all the rules of the road and never drive distracted to or from school.”
