Area athletes to play in All-Star Football Classic

The All-Star Football Classic is set to kick off this weekend with multiple area football players.

The All-Star game is a yearly showcase of the best talent in Northeast Nebraska. This years game will feature a lot of local talent from both the Red and White squads. The game will kick off on Saturday, June 10th at 1 p.m. at Memorial Field in Norfolk, Nebraska. Multiple athletes from the local area will be representing the White team like Josh Cuddy of O’Neill St. Mary’s, Sam Morrill of Creighton, McGwire Mackeprang, and Cole Bruns of Bloomfield, and Seth Wentworth of West Holt. The Head Coach for the White team will be Chad Cattau of Cedar Catholic.

Even more local talent will be on display for the Red squad like Brock Johnson, and Tyler Reifkofski of Osmond, Bryce Heiser, Jake Young, Bailey Thompson, and Jason Hahlbeck of O’Neill, Tyson Behtz, Grant White, and Chris Bentley of Neligh-Oakdale, Zach Diessner of Spalding Academy, Chad Bode of Elgin Public/Pope John, Franklin Fessler of Stuart, and Cole Kuzal of Plainview. The Head Coach for the Red team will be Rod Brummels of Osmond with Eichelberger of O’Neill working as an assistant coach.

Once again, the All-Star game will be played this Saturday, June 10th at Memorial Field in Norfolk, Nebraska at 1 p.m.
