Annual sale of recycled cemetery flowers in Orchard
The annual sale of recycled cemetery flowers is going on NOW through Memorial Day at St. Peter Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Orchard. Cost is a freewill donation with all proceeds going towards upkeep of the St. Peter Lutheran cemetery. Please enter through the north set of double doors.

The North Central Nebraska RC&D is hosting a scrap tire collection in Valentine, NE on April 30th from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and May 1st from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. The collection location is in the City of Valentine’s Lot (East of the high school). Around 1000 pieces of high school and junior high artwork will be on display Thursday, May 1st, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 2nd, 2025 from 8:00-2:00 pm in the ZCBJ Hall in Verdigre, Nebraska as part of this year’s Niobrara Valley Conference Art Show.
