The Annual Niobrara Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet will be held Saturday, November 29th, at the Atkinson Community Center. Doors open at 5:30 and the meal begins at 7. There will be smothered steak, mountain oysters, and world famous pheasant gravy. Also this year, they’re giving away a record setting 23 guns. Now that’s something every God fearing patriot can appreciate! All are welcome to attend this family friendly event.

The Atkinson Parade of Lights will be on Sunday, November 30, in downtown Atkinson. Enjoy Hot Cocoa, Cider & Cookies from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Atkinson Senior Center for a free-will donation, the St. Joseph Alter Society will have soup supper at the KC Hall from 4:30 pm til gone, and then the Parade of Lights is at 6 pm.
