Public notice is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State Statue Sections 77-3444 (and 13-519), that the governing body will meet on the 12th day of September, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Chambers Fire Hall. The purpose of this meeting is for registered voters of Chambers Township (Village included) to vote on a levy allocation increase.
The vote will be to allow a levy of property tax not to exceed 8 cents per one hundred dollars of taxable valuation. A vote for this allocation allows the Chambers Township to operate at the same level as in the past. Without this vote, allowable tax support will be out approximately 38%.
