There will be a Fish Fry & Auction Benefit for the Vic McConnell Family on Saturday, May 6th at the KC Hall in Atkinson from 5 to 8 p.m. with the Live Auction starting at 8 p.m. Vic gave 28 years as an active volunteer Firefighter and EMT with the Atkinson Fire Department. If you wish to donate money, food or something for the auction you can call Jacque at 402-340-5568 or the three drop off points in Atkinson are: Anson’s Feed, Mitchell Equipment and Keogh Electric. The auction will start at 8 p.m. and everything will be sold with proceeds going to the Vic McConnell Family. If you wish to send a check make check’s payable to the Atkinson Fire & Rescue and place in the memo line Vic McConnell Benefit, and send it to Atkinson Fire & Rescue PO Box 639, Atkinson, NE 68713.
