The Evergreen To Take Over O’Neill Meals On Wheels, Everyone Must Re-Apply To Be On The Program

The program was closed about a month ago, however, it will be starting up again with the meals cooked by The Evergreen. If you were previously on the Meals On Wheels you need to re-apply to be on the program as no names were transferred. You can sign up at Open Houses at The Evergreen Independent Living Community Room which is on the south side of The Evergreen. The Open Houses will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 1 pm to 3 pm and again on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 10 am to 11 am. If you cannot make it to the open houses you can call to sign up by calling 402-340-5426. If there is no answer leave your name and number and they will contact you. They are planning the first Meals on Wheels to be served beginning Tuesday, September 5.
Cost for the meals is $6.50 for those over 60 and $8.50 for those under 60.
