Funeral Mass for Leo O’Malley, age 95, of North Platte, Nebraska and formerly of Chambers, Nebraska will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill. Fr. Bernard Starman will officiate. Burial will follow in the O’Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, March 23, 2026, at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:00pm. Leo passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Linden Court in North Platte, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to his family for future designation.
Leo is survived by his five children, Patrick (Colleen) O’Malley of Centerville, SD; Karrie (Dan) Duffy of Rapid City, SD; Charles (Laurel) O’Malley of Chambers, NE; James (Debra) O’Malley and William (Patricia) O’Malley, all of North Platte, NE; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marge Rotherham of Crawford; brother-in-law, Edward (Carol) Rotherham of Ewing; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
