O’Neill – Boyd County Senior, Charlie Adams, and Summerland Junior, Ava Cleveland, have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Ava Cleveland achieved a career milestone during the Ord Girls Wrestling Invitational, coming home with her 100th career victory in the semifinals! She earned the victory by fall, advancing to the championship match. KBRX would like to recognize Ava’s hard work, dedication, and leadership not just this season, but for her entire career!
Charlie Adams had a great week for the Boyd County Spartans, helping lead his team to two victories this week! And in each of his nominations, Charlie has been the perfect example of hard work, effort, and senior leadership! In a 55-35 victory over Ainsworth, Charlie finished with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and an assist. He then helped his team to a close, 53-47 road victory at CWC, scoring 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block, once again doing a little bit of everything.
