The Verdigre Community Chorus would like to invite you to their Christmas concert, entitled “Sights and Sounds of Christmas”. The first concert will be held on Sunday, December 7 at 1:30 PM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Verdigre. A repeat performance will be held Wednesday, December 10th at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield at 7:00 PM. A free will offering will be taken at intermission. Refreshments will be served after each performance. The chorus, under the direction of Laurel Johnson, and accompanied by Nancy Pavelka, has thirty-six members for this year’s concert. Besides Verdigre, members travel from Creighton, Bloomfield, Plainview, Wausa, Page, and Niobrara. Come and enjoy the beautiful music that will remind you of the reason for this Christmas season.
