O’Neill – Delani Runnels of Niobrara/Verdigre and Jarek Erickson of EPPJ have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Niobrara/Verdigre Junior – Delani Runnels finished her Cross Country season on a high note: finishing in 1st place from the D3 District Final with a time of 19:46.5, and as Class D Runner up from the State Cross Country Invite with a time of 19:27.9! Congratulations to Delani on a great end of the season!
EPPJ Senior Fullback and Linebacker – Jarek Erickson peformed at a high level in EPPJ’s first round playoff matchup against Overton! He ran the ball 34 times for 213 yards and 4 rushing touchdowns, caught the ball once for 10 yards, had 10 tackles and a TFL! While EPPJ lost to Overton, 49-42, Jarek’s performance was awe-inspiring and KBRX would like to congratulate him for his amazing performance!
