A funeral mass and Christian burial for Jerry Steinhauser, age 81, of Stuart will be held Friday, October 31 at 10:30 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stuart, NE. A visitation will be held at Seger Funeral Home in Stuart, NE from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 30 with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Stuart Cemetery. Memorials in Jerry’s honor can be designated to the Stuart Fire Department or the Stuart High School Athletic Fund or to the family for other future designations.
Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon of Stuart, NE after just short of 62 years of marriage; daughter Lisa Steinhauser of Olathe, KS; son Scott and wife Nancy Steinhauser of Ainsworth, NE; son Dana Steinhauser of Stuart, NE; and son Jared and wife Jenny Steinhauser of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren Joel (Kendra) Steinhauser and their children Brynn and Cam; Brinson (Kayla) Steinhauser and their children Jayden, Brooklyn, Peyton, and Carsyn; Maggie (Jon) Alderson, Parker (Abbie) Sis and their child Collins, Claire Steinhauser, Tiarra Steinhauser; Isaac (Ashtynn) Steinhauser, Ryan Steinhauser, Addison Steinhauser, Lola Steinhauser, and Lucy Steinhauser. In addition, Jerry is survived by his brother Kenny Steinhauser of Stuart, NE, his brother Terry Steinhauser of Waterloo, NE, his brother-in-law Gary Addison of Lodgepole, NE, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter Shannon Sis in November 2020, his parents Fritz and Kathleen, his parents-in-law Delbert and Benice Addison, his sisters-in-law Carole Addison, Sandra Steinhauser, and Georgie Addison, and his brother-in-law Larry Addison.
