C3 District Cross Country Results – O’Neill Boys Qualify as a Team, O’Neill Girls Qualify an Individual!

Pierce – The C3 District Cross Country Meet was held Wednesday at the Pierce Community Golf Course. To qualify for the State Cross Country meet runners must finish in the top 15 individually or in the top 3 as a team, and O’Neill will represent in both the boys and girls State Meet!

The O’Neill boys finished in 3^rd as a team, not only finishing on the podium but also stamping their ticket to the state meet October 24^th from the Kearney Country Club in Kearney, Nebraska! Max Berg led the O’Neill boys, finishing in 4^th place (17:34.27). Paul Fonseca snuck into the top ten with an 8^th place finish (18:01.15). Alonso Hernandez finished in 17^th (18:41.59), Tomas Arciniega in 22^nd (19:04.72), Brandon Romero right behind him in 23^rd (19:21.64), & Evan Cole in 26^th (19:29.57). Congratulations to the O’Neill Boys Cross Country team!

The Lady Eagles finish in 6^th place as a team, but will be represented in Kearney as Kiarra Kennedy finished in 8^th place (21:40.45)! Mollie Corkle finished in 25^th (23:36.79), Taya Dickau in 27^th (23:50.65), Lynn Miner in 32^nd (24:28.27), & Emma Bowder in 37^th (24:57.40). While the Lady Eagles didn’t qualify as a team, we’ll all be cheering Kiarra on at the State Meet in Kearney!
