Winnetoon, Nebraska’s big BBQ Celebration will be Saturday, August 6th, 2022. A Kiddie Parade with a Barnyard/Farm Theme will be at 4:30 PM on Main Street, with registration at 4:00 PM, or you can pre-register by calling or text to 402-358-0320. Over $500.00 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top five kids’ entries, with a free meal for all participants. The big BBQ Meal with all of your picnic favorites will be served from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Main Street for a free-will offering, the Bethesda Mini-Camp will be selling Root Beer Floats, and the Winnetoon Mall will be having their sidewalk sales throughout the celebration. There will be live music with Kimberly Meyer in concert from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by the Prairie Thunder Band Street Dance from 7:00 PM to Midnight, with a beer garden throughout the evening. Don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets from any Winnetoon merchant or improvement club member now or during the celebration, with the drawing at 10:00 PM during the street dance for your chance to win a 2022 Can-Am 450 Outland ATV or $5,000.00 Cash, with all proceeds going to improvements at the Winnetoon Village Park.
