O’Neill – O’Neill Sophomore Mariah Kallhoff & Creighton Senior Calvin Wilmes have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Mariah Kallhoff had a great week for the Lady Eagle Track Team, earning 4 medals across two events! From the Battle Creek Invite, Mariah brought home a 1st place finish in the shot put, throwing 39′ 7″ along with a 3rd place finish in the discus, throwing 109′ 10″. Kallhoff continued her impressive season at the Broken Bow Track Invite, once again securing a 1st place finish in the shot put with a throw of 40′ 5″, and another 3rd place finish in the discus with a throw of 113′ 10″!
The Larry Knaak Golf Invite took place Saturday, April 11th and Calvin led the Creighton Bulldogs to a 1st place finish individually and as a team! The Bulldogs finished with a team score, 317, good enough for a team championship, with Calvin shooting the low score – 73! He finished +1, and as the Larry Knaak individual champion!
