A Funeral Mass for Agnes Engelhaupt, age 85, of Spencer, Nebraska, will be at 10:30 am onThursday, March 5, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spencer. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Father Ross Burkhalter will officiate. Preceding the Funeral Mass, there will be a visitation at the church from 9-10 am, followed by a 10:00 am Parish Rosary. Agnes passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at her home. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
Agnes is survived by her children, Kim (Sandy) Engelhaupt of Yankton, SD, Bill (Carrie) Engelhaupt of Spencer, Mark (Noreen) Engelhaupt of Spencer, son-in-law Kyle Tarr of Plainview, NE; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; brother Ralph Schmitz of Mission, SD; sister-in-law Dorain Schmitz of Aberdeen, SD.
