A Memorial Service for Ernie Van Horn, age 87, of Newport, NE, will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson, NE with Military Rites by the Atkinson American Legion Post. Burial will be in the Hope Enterprise Cemetery in rural Orchard, NE at a later date. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, from Noon until the service time at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson. Ernie passed away January 29, 2026 at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE.
