O’Neill – Claire Meyer of Creighton and Grady Drueke of EPPJ have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Creighton Sophomore outside hitter – Claire Meyer! Claire helped the Lady Bulldogs go 2-1 in the Lewis & Clark Conference Volleyball Tournament, finishing with a total of 31 kills along with 42 digs and 2 blocks! Against Winnebago, she picked up 9 kills on .461 hitting and 7 digs. Against Tri County NE, she finished with 10 kills, 2 blocks and 12 digs. And in the third match against Bloomfield, she finished with 12 kills, hitting .428 and had 23 digs! We’d like to congratulate Claire Meyer for her awesome performances during the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament!
EPPJ Senior running back and linebacker – Grady Drueke. Against Neligh-Oakdale he led the Wolfpack offense and was a huge impact on defense as well, helping EPPJ hand Neligh-Oakdale their first loss of the season. He carried the ball 44 times for 217 yards and 4 rushing touchdowns! He added 10 tackles and a pass deflection in the Wolfpack victory over the Warriors! Congratulations to Grady for an amazing game!
