O’Neill – Pavan Larson of West Holt and Haiden Horstmann of Creighton have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
West Holt Senior Setter – Pavan Larson had awesome performances from the Arcadia-Loup City Invite, helping her team finish 2-1! She finished with 56 assists, 13 digs, 10 aces, & 9 kills hitting .261. Pavan has set up the offense in a variety of ways, helping her teammates shine all season! We would like to congratulate Pavan Larson for her great performances during the Arcadia-Loup City Invite!
Creighton Freshman Running Back/Linebacker – Haiden Horstmann stepped up in the biggest way during Creighton’s game against Ainsworth! With a few injuries to the team, Haiden was called upon to help lead the offense and he did that and more, carrying the ball 40 times for 464 yards and 7 touchdowns! He added a catch for 11 yards, then kept that level of play onto the defensive side too – finishing with 9 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 interception, & forced 1 fumble. His phenomenal performance helped Creighton in their win against Ainsworth and we would like to congratulate him for such an outstanding showing!
