West Holt Cross Country Invite Results

Atkinson – The West Holt Cross Country Invite had not just a large field but a lot of local runners competing! Each race saw good individual and team finishes, several medals and personal bests!

The O’Neill Eagles tied Doniphan-Trumbull at 23 points, and finished in 2^nd place as a team! They were led by Max Berg in 2^nd place (17:39.34). Paul Fonseca just missed the top 5, finishing in 6^th place (18:13.90). Luna Hernandez Alonso secured 16^th place (18:53.35), Tomas Arciniego finished in 19^th place (19:16.63), and Evan Cole finished in 27^th place (20:03.12).

The Boyd County Spartans finished in 3^rd place as a team with 31 points! Will Nelson had the best finish for the Spartans, placing 4^th (18:06.75). Ethan Zeisler finished in 7^th place (18:17.81), Issac Jensen in 21^st (19:28.64), and Aidyn Garwood in 36^th place (20:39.07)

In the girls race, Delani Runnels of Niobrara/Verdigre brings home 1^st place once again, running a time of 20:50.73.

The West Holt Lady Huskies finished in 2^nd place as a team with 22 points! Felycia Kerkman led the way for West Holt in 7^th place (21:46.67). Ava Hoffman finished inside the top 15, securing 12^th place (22:46.38). Kearsten Keogh was just behind her in 14^th place (22:53:49), also in the top 15. Anel Monasterio finished in 27^th place (24:44.12), and Yazmin Zamora finished in 38^th place (27:11.65)

The O’Neill Lady Eagles placed 5^th as a team with 48 points. The Lady Eagles didn’t have anyone finish in the top 15, but Taya Dickau finished in 16^th (23:10.56), and Mollie Corkle in 19^th place (23:27.42)! Lynn Miner secured 29^th place (25:20.16), & Emma Bowder in 31^st place (25:25.09).
