Congratulations to the Prospects fall league baseball team, consisting of American Legion players from the Tri-County Titans and O’Neill Irish, for making the semi-finals of the 2025 Sioux City area World Series of fall league baseball. The Prospects enter championship weekend with a 6-1-1 fall record and only 12 runs given up on the season. We have defeated teams from Alta-Aurelia, IA; Maple Valley, IA; Sioux City West HS; and Dakota Valley, SD. The lone loss was a rain-shortened game vs. Maple Valley, and the tie came when time ran out vs. Dakota Valley. Tri-County team members on the Prospects roster include: Ryan Rifer, Isaac Hoferer, Levi Hoferer, Max Bruce, Parker Frank, & Chase Hoferer. O’Neill Irish team members on the Prospects roster include: Nate Brown, James Eby, Daniel Kluver, Dawson Kluver, Maxwell Berg, & Drake Berg. KBRX would like to wish good luck to the Prospects!
O’Neill Area Prospects are the #1 seed and play at 12pm this Sunday, Oct. 5 at Strikers Baseball Complex in Sioux City vs. #4 Ridge View. The other semi-final game is also at 12pm with #2 Dakota Valley vs. #3 Maple Valley. Championship game will be at 1:30 pm on Strikers field 3. The consolation game will also be at 1:30 pm on Strikers field 4.
