O’Neill – Daleni Knust of West Holt and Ben Barlow of St. Mary’s have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Junior Golfer – Daleni Knust had a perfect week of golf, winning two individual events and helping her team secure two 1st place finishes as well! Daleni sank a 12 ft putt to win the Boone Central Invitational, finishing with a +1 score of 77. She followed that up with a 76 at Frederick Peak Golf Club in Valentine, winning the Valentine Girls Golf Invite. Congratulations to Daleni for a great week of golf!
Junior Wide Receiver – Ben Barlow had a huge week for St. Mary’s, acting as the main target through the air for the Cardinals in their victory over Creighton! Ben finished with 9 catches for 149 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns! He added an interception and two tackles on defense! He helped St. Mary’s overcome a 12 point defecit in the first half and hold the Creighton Bulldogs to 0 points in the 2nd half, defeating Creighton 66-28. Congratulations to Ben Barlow for an awesome performance!
