
O’Neill – The O’Neill Cross Country Invite saw a big field and plenty of great performances from local runners! O’Neill placed 3rd in the boys meet, 4th in the girls competition. Junior – Max Berg – led the O’Neill boys runners, finishing in 4th place (17:23.60), Paul Fonseca finished in 8th place (17:41.30). Just missing out in the top 15 were Tomas Arciniego in 20th (18:26.20), Brandon Romero in 23rd (18:46.80), and Evan Cole in 24th (19:03.40).
The team winner in the Girls meet were the West Holt Lady Huskies! Felycia Kerkman had the best finish in 6th place (21:25.80), Ava Hoffman was behind her in 9th place (22:27.90), Kearsten Keogh finished in 12th place (22:41.60), and Anel Monasterio finished just inside the top 15 at 14th (22:47.90). Congratulations to the West Holt Lady Huskies for winning the O’Neill Girls Cross Country Meet!
The O’Neill Lady Eagles finish just outside the medals as a team in 4th place. Kiarra Kennedy was the best finisher for O’Neill in 3rd place (20:18.00), Taya Dickau finished in 11th place (22:38.30), just outside the top 20 you have Lynn Miner in 21st (23:27.40), Emma Bowder in 26th place (24:33.30), and Mollie Corkle in 27th place (24:56.20). O’Neill was only 4 points behind 3rd place, and 5 points behind 2nd place as a team.
