O’Neill – Camry Kittelson of EPPJ & Gage Hedstrom of St. Mary’s have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Senior Setter & Outside Hitter – Camry Kittelson had an awesome week in volleyball, and did so in nearly every way! Camry finished with 38 assists, helping set up her team in 4 wins this week. She also added 19 kills, 14 digs, 7 aces, and 2 blocks! Camry did it all, and we congratulate her for her great performances!
Senior Quarterback & Linebacker – Gage Hedstrom dominated in multiple facets of the game when St. Mary’s faced Burwell! On offense he completed 8/11 passes for 110 yards through the air, 3 of which were for touchdowns. He added 5 carries for 29 yards and an additional rushing touchdown. But, his performance didn’t stop there! In the second quarter he had three returns for touchdowns: a 77 yard kickoff return for a score and back to back punt returns for touchdowns! He added 2 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 interception, and caused 1 fumble. His efforts helped the Cardinals to a huge, 52-12 victory over Burwell!
