Lewis Gerald (Gerry) Coburn, age 89, passed away in Lincoln, on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025.
Born October 3rd, 1935, in Stuart, Nebraska, son of Rex and Helen Coburn. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, he taught for 40 years in North Platte, Nebraska, before retiring to Omaha.
Gerry is survived by son Scott (Tammy) Coburn of Madison, WI, daughter Sally (Walt) Schneider of Shady Cove, Oregon, four grandchildren, and six great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma Burgess, and his brother Harold Coburn.
Inurnment will be announced at a later time.
