Funeral Service for Denton J. Weichman age 78 of Grand Island, formerly of Ainsworth, NE will be held on Friday (Aug. 8, 2025) at 10:30 AM in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. A Private Family Burial will follow in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Denton Weichman died Monday (August 4, 2025) in Grand Island.

Wife: Ann Weichman of Grand Island
3 Children: Dr. Molly (husband, Justin) Johnson of Grand Island, Katie (husband, Walker) Zulkoski of Lincoln, NE, and & Taylor Weichman of Bentonville, AR
6 Grandchildren
Mother-in-law: Jan Brayton of Stuart, NE
Siblings: Karen (husband, Travis) MacClendon of Blountstown, FL, Leon (wife, Connie) Weichman of Stuart, & Rochelle Weichman of Stuart
Along with nieces, nephews and other family members
Visitations for Denton Weichman will be held on Thursday (Aug. 7, 2025) from 5 to 7 PM in the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth and continue on Friday at the church from 9:30 AM to time of service at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Ainsworth Community Schools in Denton’s name.
