Shabram Leads Tri-County Titan Seniors Past Plainview In Thrilling Extra Inning Showdown

PLAINVIEW – Wyatt Shabram struck out 12 batters as the hurler led the Tri-County Titan Seniors past Plainview Post 148 4-3 on Tuesday. Shabram allowed three hits and two runs over six innings while walking two.

The Titan Seniors and Plainview battled through 5 complete innings of scoreless baseball until Tri-County broke through with a run in the top of the 6th inning. Another 2 runs scored by the Titans in the top of the 7th gave Tri-County a 3-0 lead. Although errors allowed the Plainview Post 148 Seniors to tie the game and force extra innings. With a tied game at three in the top of the eighth, Connor Thomson singled, scoring one run which ultimately won the game for the Titans.

Ryan Rifer earned the win for Tri-County as the reliever surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Karter Lingenfelter took the loss for Plainview Legion Post 148. The left-handed pitcher went two innings, giving up one run on four hits, striking out four and walking two. Ty Diedrichsen stepped on the bump first for Plainview Post 148 and the pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out seven and walking two.

Ryan Rifer went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.

Cooper Aerhart led Plainview with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.
