
ORCHARD – The Tri-County Titan Seniors scored nine runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Stanton 16-5 on Tuesday. An error scored one run, Connor Thomson singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Logan Tiedtke induced Coy Wickersham to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, Isaac Pavlik singled, scoring one run, Kaiden Bauer drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and Wyatt Shabram drew a walk, scoring one run.
The Titan Seniors scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Connor Thomson singled, scoring one run, A.J. Hobbs grounded out, scoring one run, Aiden McAllister drew a walk, scoring one run, Kaiden Bauer singled, scoring two runs, and a passed ball scored one run.
Isaac Hoferer earned the win for Tri-County as the right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking two. Logan Tiedtke took the loss for Stanton. He went one-third of an inning, surrendering nine runs (three earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking three. Jake Schroeder threw one and two-thirds innings of scoreless ball for Tri-County in relief. The righty allowed zero hits, striking out four and walking one.
A.J. Hobbs, Kaiden Bauer, Dane Miller, and Connor Thomson each drove in two runs for Tri-County. Connor Thomson led the Titan Seniors with two hits in four at bats. Wyatt Shabram led the team with two walks. Overall, the Titans had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 10 walks for the game. Coy Wickersham, Dane Miller, Wyatt Shabram, and Connor Thomson each stole multiple bases for the Titans. Tri-County earned 13 stolen bases for the game.
Grant Bruggeman provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Stanton with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-2 on the day. Jamie D, Grant Bruggeman, and Morgan Bummer each collected one hit for Stanton.
