
O’NEILL – Wyatt Shabram was dominant on the mound, as the hurler rang up 13 strikeouts in the Tri-County Seniors’s 5-1 victory over the Irish on Thursday. Wyatt Shabram gave up four hits and one run over seven innings while walking one.
The Titan Seniors got on the scoreboard in the first inning after Coy Wickersham tripled, scoring one run. The Titan Seniors added one run in the second after the Irish committed an error.
The Titan Seniors extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI walks by Connor Thomson and Cash Wickersham.
Kol Otten took the loss for the Irish as he went four innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking three.
Dane Miller and Ryan Rifer were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Tri-County. Coy Wickersham, Cash Wickersham, and Connor Thomson each drove in one run for Tri-County.
Trevor Reiser led the Irish with one run batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Nate Brown, Kol Otten, Trevor Reiser, and James Eby each collected one hit for the Irish.
Tri-County Titan Seniors will travel to Hartington for their next game on Friday, June 27. Games next week include Tues, July 1st vs. Stanton and Wed, July 2nd vs. Albion seniors. Both games at Orchard. That is followed by a game at Atkinson on Thurs, July 3rd.
