Tri-county Titans seniors Defeat O’neill In Pitcher’s Duel

ORCHARD – Both teams were strong on the hill on Thursday, but Tri-county Titans defeated the Pinnacle Bank Irish Seniors 2-0. Wyatt Shabram started the game for the Tri-county Titans and recorded 21 outs.

Wyatt Shabram struck out 16 batters on the day. The starting pitcher also surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings while walking four.  Shabram has allowed only 2 hits and 1 run this season with an amazing 31 strikeouts going 2-0 on the season thus far.

A tag up by Shabram on an Isaac Pavlik sacrifice flyball put Tri-county Titans on the board in the bottom of the third.

Beau Butterfield started on the hill for the Irish taking the loss. The hurler gave up six hits and one run over four innings, striking out six and walking two.  Eleazar Gonzalez went two innings, surrendering one run (zero earned) on two hits, striking out three and walking three.

Isaac Pavlik led Tri-county Titans with one run batted in. Ryan Rifer led Tri-county Titans with two hits in three at bats. Wyatt Shabram scored both Tri-County runs.  Tri-county Titans were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Landon Nelson had the most chances in the field with 11.

Xzavier Parks went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead the Irish in hits. O’Neill turned one double play (4-6-3) in the game.

Tri-county Titans seniors welcome Valentine Seniors on Sunday, June 8th at 5:00 in Orchard for their next game.
