O’Neill – The O’Neill Lady Eagles wrestling program has officially had their first wrestler sign her letter of intent to wrestle at the next level.
O’Neill senior and two-time state qualifier Madelynne Jakubowski on Wednesday, April 11th signed her letter of intent to Doane University. With her recent commitment, Jakubowski has become the first O’Neill girl’s wrestler to continue her career at the collegiate level.
During her career, Jakubowski has wrestled at 185 and 170 pounds while qualifying for state in her two seasons! This season, Jakubowski wrestled at 170 pounds and finished with a 36-13 record while finishing in 4th place at districts!
