Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week

O’Neill – EmiLee Walnofer of West Holt and Aiden Kuester of Neligh-Oakdale have been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!

EmiLee Walnofer a senior volleyball player for the West Holt Lady Huskies had a stellar performance against Elkhorn Valley. Walnofer has been a very consistent and solid volleyball player for the Huskies during her 4-year career. She has been a varsity starter and 6 rotation player in every varsity volleyball match since her freshman season. Walnofer and the Lady Huskies had a battle on their hands against the Elkhorn Valley Lady Falcons in a 5-set match. In the match, Walnofer led the attack with 18 kills while also adding 28 digs, 2 ace serves, and 1 block for West Holt.

Aiden Kuester a senior football player for the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors was everywhere in a win against Plainview! Kuester has been dominant this season as he’s averaging 263 passing yards per game while also leading the team in rushing as well at 140 yards per game. The latest performance by Kuester saw him helping his team to 90 total points in a win against the Pirates. Kuester had video game numbers as he finished 10-15 for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air, 22 carries for 237 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground while compiling 471 total yards of offense and 10 touchdowns! Kuester also made an impact on defense as he led his team with 17 tackles.
