Amy Schumer Returns To Work After Hospitalization

Comedian Amy Schumer is back to work after she was hospitalized earlier this week.  On Friday, Schumer posted a photo of her dog Tati on a chair, with a caption telling her fans she plans on performing this weekend. “I will be doing my shows tomorrow and Sunday!”

Schumer, who is expecting her first husband with husband Chris Fisher, was hospitalized on Thursday with hyperemesis and was forced to cancel a show in Dallas. “Texas I am so deeply sorry,” Schumer wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed. “I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows.”

Schumer was back to performing at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Saturday, and at the Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh on Sunday. She has tour dates scheduled through Dec. 23.
