KBRX AM & FM employ high school students to work part-time at KBRX. These students run the station, mostly on weekends and sometimes during the week. The students are LaShanna Werth & Brandon Pruden.  Students who are going to college work when they come back home during holidays and in the summer.

KBRX has area high school students that do air work, mainly news from their school and area events. Schools that participate in the program are O’Neill Public, O’Neill St. Mary’s, Creighton, Lynch, Stuart, West Boyd, Summerland, and Chambers.

KBRX also employed high school students to help broadcast fall and winter sporting events.  Students helped with softball and basketball broadcasts doing color commentary and also doing play by play.
